Thanksgiving picnicking, the grand finale

Despite the dishwasher situation, we had to bring out the real deal for Thanksgiving itself. Everyone got their one and only porcelain plate for the week, and we even upgraded to the fancy faux silver plastic “silverware.” Wine in a paper cup? That did just fine.

A centerpiece of golden pinecones picked up from West Elm last year, combined with leftover Halloween gourds, filled the table. Well-used and much-loved wooden chicken and pig napkin rings kept the non-paper linens lovely, and beautiful burnt umber menus from Tiny Prints added the perfect final touch. The whole “Gently Gathered” set have a beautiful watercolor look to them that had a rustic touch.
