Supper club made its way back round to us last weekend and the race was on to think up a good theme. Football season, fall and fattening-up-for-winter in mind, we went with an all-American menu and Game Night. To keep plenty of room on the table for gaming activities, the table was pretty sparse, just a big green pop of color on the tablecloth. Display jars held cards and scrabble keys and dominos as a centerpiece, and I used more scrabble pieces as namecards. And the meal itself? Good, solid chili and baked potatoes. Overall not the most interesting of setups, but it sure beat the next night’s birthday disaster!
